Spivey Air

Altimeter, Static, Transponder Testing
Pitot-Static Testing: The Full Story
When you bring your aircraft in for pitot-static testing, you’re getting more than a simple check—it’s a full verification of the systems that keep your altitude, airspeed, and vertical speed information accurate and reliable.
We begin by connecting certified test equipment directly to your aircraft’s pitot and static systems. From there, we simulate real flight conditions on the ground, carefully checking how your instruments respond. This includes your airspeed indicator, altimeter, and vertical speed indicator, along with any connected avionics such as your transponder and encoder.
During the process, we perform leak checks to ensure the system is properly sealed, inspect lines and fittings for wear or damage, and verify that your instruments meet required tolerances. If anything is out of spec, we’ll pinpoint the issue and walk you through the next steps.
Once testing is complete, you’ll receive proper documentation showing your aircraft meets regulatory requirements for IFR flight. The result is confidence—knowing the data you rely on in the air is precise, dependable, and ready for every flight.
Instead of the long drawn out quoting process we made it simple with price list found below!
